The Teen Film & Acting Camp is open to students aged 13–18. No prior filmmaking experience is required — just enthusiasm and a willingness to work hard on a real film set.
The price covers five full days of intensive training, equipment use, professional editing of your showreel piece, and mentorship from working film directors. Short films are screened in front of parents, and you'll receive headshots and showreel scenes. Contact us to confirm your school subsidy eligibility before booking.
No. All professional production equipment is provided. Students just need to bring themselves, comfortable clothes, a packed lunch, and a notebook. We supply cameras, lenses, lighting, grip, and audio equipment.
The Filmmaker Pathway focuses on camera operation, lighting, directing, and post-production editing. The Actor Pathway focuses on performance technique, screen acting, cold reading, and building a showreel. Both tracks work together on the same film set, giving each student real cross-discipline experience.

The ultimate hands-on filmmaking experience
Our intensive Teen Film Camps bridge the gap between amateur smartphone videos and high-end cinema production. Students write, direct, shoot, and crew their own projects using over $100,000 worth of elite production gear — including our RED Epic Dragon 6K cinema camera, ARRI lighting kits, and professional sound packages. Mentored directly by working Australian feature film industry veterans.
Real Hollywood kits
No toy cameras. Students script and execute shoots using the same RED and Blackmagic rigs used on feature film sets.
Expert mentorship
Taught by working directors and crew members with deep industry footprints, including NYFA alumni instructors CJ Barnes and Stephen Osborne.
